Data Tech Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Tech Lead to build and scale its data platform for client-facing analytics and core ML functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of the data platform, including potential migration to Snowflake
• Lead the development of production-grade data infrastructure to ensure reliability and uptime
• Manage data cost structure and introduce operational best practices for incident management and monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering/platform roles, with at least 2 years in a technical/team lead capacity
• Experience with modern data stacks such as ClickHouse, DBT, Dagster, Airbyte, and Debezium
• Deep understanding of building resilient, production-ready data pipelines
• Experience with cost management and production SLAs for client-facing systems
• Bonus: experience in regulated or high-compliance environments (e.g. fintech, healthcare, cannabis)
