DBA Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DBA Lead to provide leadership and oversight for their Database Administration team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and set work priorities for the DBA team while ensuring effective communication
• Supervise vendor performance and contractor resources to ensure alignment with contractual obligations
• Monitor service delivery, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to standard DBA practices and policies

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of experience in database administration and management
• Experience with SQL Server administration tasks including backup, restore, and job creation
• Knowledge of database encryption, patching, upgrades, and migrations
• Understanding of SQL Server performance and replication
• Familiarity with Azure IaaS and scripting in T-SQL and PowerShell is a plus
