DE/SAR Licensed Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a TPO Underwriter (DE/SAR).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite 2-3 new loans daily, analyzing borrower's financial profiles to ensure compliance with investor guidelines
• Maintain 24-48 hour turn times and clear UTC conditions within 24 hours
• Stay updated on guideline changes and assist in training new underwriters and loan officers

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3-5 years of underwriting experience with comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage business
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Experience with FHA/VA/Agency loans
• Direct Endorsement (DE) and LAPP/SAR certifications required
• Knowledge of Encompass LOS
