Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer to assist with Outside Plant fiber and coax design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design site plans for Outside Plant (OSP) fiber and coaxial cable routes
• Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings and generate supporting documentation
• Perform cost analysis and adhere to quality standards while meeting project deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering Technologies, GIS, CAD Drafting, or similar preferred
• Prior experience in cable TV and RF design is a plus
• Experience with various Drafting and Design software platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new software tools
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications
