Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Detection Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of detection engineers to identify and investigate threats in various telemetry
• Manage, mentor, and coach direct reports while defining operational metrics for improvement
• Build relationships across teams to enhance customer experience and lead root cause analysis for quality issues

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or security engineering with people management experience
• Technical proficiency with Identity, Cloud, and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools
• Desire to mentor and manage highly technical teams
• Experience in creating and managing operational metrics to improve team efficiency
• Ability to manage relationships with organizational leaders and drive initiatives to completion
