Development Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Development Consultant for Environmental Advocacy Organization (Grant Writer, Foundation Relations, Institutional Giving).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of institutional grants, providing client and project management
• Write compelling narratives for letters of inquiry, proposals, and other collateral
• Identify funding opportunities through research and maintain tracking of progress and deadlines

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in grant writing, preferably with private foundations and public charities
• Experience with individual giving and development operations is a plus
• Familiarity with nonprofit environmental advocacy strategies
• Proven success in a client-facing project or account management role
• Experience using standard office software/platforms (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRMs)
