Development Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Development Consultant to build new relationships with donors on the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Support positioning of the organization with donors and assist in strategy development
• Connect staff to high-net-worth individual donors or foundations and secure meetings with prospects
• Review and edit donor materials as needed and communicate regularly with leadership and staff

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in philanthropy or institutional fundraising
• Proven relationships with donors on the West Coast
• Strong track record of securing funding from philanthropic foundations and individual donors
• Demonstrated success in proposal development
• In-depth experience with philanthropy related to environmental issues and climate change
