Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve data engineering standards and practices within the Analytics team
• Establish rigor and discipline across all data engineering and implementation efforts
• Prescribe engineering and modeling best practices across diverse healthcare data sets

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering and/or data management, with 5+ years in healthcare analytics leadership
• Extensive experience with healthcare data: payer claims, pharmacy, clinical/EHR, and hospital revenue cycle
• Proven ability to enforce data governance, discipline, and quality assurance practices at scale
• Strong expertise in data modeling and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
• Track record of thought leadership in healthcare data best practices
