Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define best practices for development, automated testing, and monitoring of data ingestion pipelines
• Govern standards and best practices within the Data Engineering Team and provide task breakdowns for Data Engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder alignment and maintain effective communication channels

Required Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Business Analytics, or applicable experience in a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of SDLC experience in ETL/ELT environments with relevant tools and technologies
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building schemas for analytical purposes
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a People Leader role managing a Data Engineering team
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and services
