Director of Data

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data to lead their Data Architecture, Engineering, and Science teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Data strategy aligned with business objectives
• Hire, manage, and mentor team members while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Data infrastructure and lead Data projects

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with at least 6 years in a leadership role
• Experience managing budgets of approximately $4M
• Unimpeachable technical knowledge in Data Engineering and Data Architecture
• Demonstrable experience in AI using multiple LLMs
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Data Engineering or Computer Science
