Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Cost Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the cloud optimization engineering team across a globally distributed workforce
• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for the cloud optimization product
• Manage engineering work backlogs, prioritization, and delivery across multiple product areas

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in engineering leadership
• Proven experience leading distributed, remote-first engineering teams
• Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software development practices
• Deep experience with AI-driven engineering practices and embedding AI features into SaaS products
• Strong technical judgment, balancing innovation and execution speed
