Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams focused on data pipelines, backend services, and reporting UIs
• Design and scale data ingestion and transformation processes, and build performant APIs for reporting data
• Drive the long-term technical strategy for reporting, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Deep expertise in data pipelines, distributed systems, and reporting/analytics platforms
• Experience with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka, Snowflake)
• Strong background in API design and building backend services for reporting and analytics
• Proven ability to set engineering vision and drive execution across complex systems
