Lead Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Architect to join their Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering managers and squads to design and implement technical solutions
• Ensure solutions align with the company's technology strategy in partnership with the Chief Architect
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and govern technical debt related to data engineering

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling and data engineering, particularly with petabyte-scale data warehousing
• Proficiency in API design, cloud data pipelines, and ETL systems
• Experience with AWS technologies for building applications and data management systems
• Ability to design and document system-level architectures and assess solution viability
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo, and Terraform
