Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering - Defense Electronics.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage five unique engineering teams focused on prototyping, system design, hardware design, test design, and product support
• Mentor and lead engineering staff while collaborating with program management and operations to meet project deadlines and budgets
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards while optimizing processes and providing technical support for existing products

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Director-level position with a successful track record
• 15+ years of experience in a solution design organization within the Defense Electronics sector
• A technical degree is required
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions and knowledge of electrical and mechanical design fundamentals
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance of Secret level
