Director of Incident Response

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Incident Response & Detection.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, execution, and improvement of Security Operations, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting programs
• Manage and mentor SOC managers and incident responders to ensure 24/7 operational resilience
• Develop and maintain IR policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Defense, Incident Response, or Security Operations
• Deep technical knowledge of cyber threats and detection technologies
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF
• Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to be on call during nontraditional hours
