NOC Network Engineer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a NOC Network Engineer I - Night and Evening Shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and maintain customer network infrastructure
• Create and manage tickets for network issues and troubleshoot network and server problems
• Document network configurations and perform routine maintenance and software upgrades on customer equipment

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer/management information systems, engineering, computer science, or equivalent is required
• Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, requiring a high school diploma or GED
• Experience with Layer 2 Ethernet switching, DHCP, DNS, and Linux command line
• Knowledge of Ethernet switching, IP routing, VoIP, and general networking principles
• 1-3 years of experience in operating, troubleshooting, or designing Internet Service Provider Networks
