Director of ISP Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of ISP Engineering to oversee a team of engineers responsible for the design and capacity management of physical infrastructure supporting a network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for infrastructure engineering teams in the design and deployment of data center infrastructure
• Drive deployment of strategic projects and support cross-functional teams by removing roadblocks and implementing process improvements
• Manage vendor relationships and maintain knowledge of industry trends to inform strategic decisions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of ten years of equivalent work experience in telecommunications
• Strong leadership and team-building experience managing technical personnel
• Demonstrated experience with inside plant construction and installation standards
• Proficient in project management and familiar with data center technologies
• Knowledge of telecommunications transport equipment and familiarity with relevant software tools
