Florida Licensed Distribution Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distribution Designer to develop design drawings and perform engineering calculations for Transmission & Distribution projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs for distribution electrical projects throughout the project lifecycle
• Support engineering projects by defining scopes of work, performing calculations, and creating detailed design drawings
• Prepare technical specifications, respond to information requests during construction, and maintain relationships with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science Degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited college
• At least 3 years of experience designing overhead and underground electric distribution networks
• Knowledge of NESC/IEEE Standards and major utility Engineering Standards
• Proficiency in electrical design and experience with distribution equipment
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
