Director of NATS and AMQ Architecture

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director NATS & AMQ Specialist / Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise-grade messaging platforms leveraging NATS and AMQ
• Define and implement best practices for messaging patterns, high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to engineers supporting messaging infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in messaging platforms, with proven architecture-level responsibility
• Deep expertise in NATS.io and Red Hat AMQ
• Strong knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware vSphere architecture
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and microservices integration
• Ability to design secure messaging topologies with TLS, mTLS, and OAuth2-based authentication
