Director of Transmission & Interconnection

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director or Sr. Director, Transmission & Interconnection.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the interconnection process from inception to Commercial Operation across various ISO's and markets
• Evaluate and provide strategies for transmission and interconnection processes, costs, and timelines
• Coordinate interconnection requirements and negotiate agreements with utilities to ensure favorable project outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of related experience in interconnection and project development or transmission planning
• Deep understanding of ISO/RTO tariffs and interconnection processes
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in negotiating long legal contracts related to interconnection and power agreements
• Preferred: Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Engineering and/or MBA
