Lead Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer (AWS) to oversee architecture and delivery of containerized infrastructure and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and operate production-grade EKS (or AKS) clusters, including lifecycle management and network policy enforcement
• Define and enforce CI/CD best practices by architecting and reviewing pipelines and automating delivery
• Own Terraform modules for multi-account/multi-region AWS infrastructure and implement observability stacks

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in Cloud/DevOps/SRE roles, with 5+ years running production Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)
• Deep AWS expertise in VPC design, IAM, EKS, ALB/NLB, KMS, CloudWatch, S3, ECR, Route 53
• Expert in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform; experience with Ansible and CloudFormation
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Proficient with Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux)
