E-Content Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an E-Content Specialist to contribute to building and maintaining a comprehensive Global Knowledge Base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance and analysis of publisher supplied metadata for quality and accuracy
• Communicate with content providers to resolve data issues and obtain necessary metadata
• Maintain associations to internal and external data sources for order processing services

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in related industries working with metadata
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, familiar with data manipulation and analysis
• Knowledge of bibliographic metadata standards (e.g. MARC, KBART, OAI)
• Experience and/or education in the library field
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e. Library Science, Business, Information Systems)
