EHR Deficiency Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EHR Deficiency Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist providers in resolving documentation deficiencies and manage the suspension process for incomplete records
• Gather and analyze data regarding physician documentation performance for reporting purposes

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education (High School or GED)
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to medical records
• Proficiency with electronic health records and document imaging systems
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to understand and interpret Joint Commission and regulatory standards
