Summary:
The Email and Automation Specialist is primarily responsible for the development and execution of internal and external email campaigns. This position will also support the creation of email automation and journey strategies for audience nurturing and contribute to personalization efforts to enhance the digital experience.
Responsibilities:
• Email Production
• Produce internal and external email campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive email structure, appearance, and timely delivery.
• Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud for email campaign management, including creating and managing email templates and content blocks.
• Develop and code emails using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript to ensure optimal rendering across various email clients and devices.
• Email Automation and Journey Strategies
• Support the development and implementation of email automation and journey strategies to nurture audience relationships and drive engagement.
• Utilize data and insights to help optimize email sequences, triggers, and personalization to enhance customer experience and achieve measurable outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Proactively adapt to changes in regulations related to email marketing.

• Technical Capabilities
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Experience coding in HMTL, CSS, and AMPscript
• Basic competency in Photoshop for photo editing

WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least 3 years Email marketing, automation, or a related field Required
• Healthcare industry or a highly regulated environment Preferred
EDUCATION
• Four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Marketing and Communications Preferred
