Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the Data Platform team in designing and delivering foundational infrastructure for scalable data workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build impactful features and ensure system reliability and governance
• Mentor engineers and foster strong engineering standards through technical discussions and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Experience in building internal platforms or developer tools in data-intensive environments
• Strong understanding of modern data infrastructure and cloud services (AWS or GCP)
• Ability to lead cross-functional work streams and translate user needs into platform capabilities
• Willingness to be hands-on and contribute technically while building a high-performing team
