Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software and data engineers focused on AI/ML models for the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow, build, and lead a world-class engineering team
• Participate in high-level design decisions and execute them
• Collaborate with data engineering, software engineering, and data science teams to create integrated automated processes supporting ML Ops workflows

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software or data development and architecture in an enterprise commercial setting
• 5+ years of experience managing developers in a hybrid/remote environment
• Strong understanding of software engineering processes and cross-department collaboration
• Significant experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
• Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL) and application development (Python, Java)
