Principal I&C Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Instrumentation & Controls Engineer at the Principal level.

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise engineering deliverables, including drawings and calculations, that meet industry standards
• Develop engineering documents that exceed client and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and perform field walkdowns

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, or heavy industrial projects
• Preferred qualifications include Nuclear Engineering Change and 10CFR50.59 Screen qualifications
• Knowledge of digital hardware and software in I&C systems and experience with large-scale digital control system upgrades
• Must be able to perform plant walkdowns and get badged at a nuclear facility
