Executive Property Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Underwriter - Property.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet financial targets and negotiate pricing and terms
• Train and develop underwriting staff while managing complex referrals and re-underwriting when necessary
• Maintain strong relationships with producers and clients, representing the company in the market

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in underwriting profitable Property business
• In-depth understanding of property insurance products and local market dynamics
• Established relationships with brokers at the peer group level
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• Ability to analyze complex data and assess risk exposures related to the line of business
