Fiber Networks Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Networks Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage the fiber optic network and related projects
• Collaborate with various departments and contractors to develop project requirements, costs, and schedules
• Conduct field site visits for project support, maintenance, or relocations as necessary

Required Qualifications and Education

• Minimum of two years of direct outside fiber experience
• Experience in the electric distribution or transmission industry, fiber engineering, or cable service provider
• Knowledge of building fiber in underground and transmission line environments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with drawing/document storage tools like AutoCAD and Visio
• General knowledge of OSHA, NESC, and standards for fiber installation in power spaces
