Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Aid Advisor to evaluate, approve, and award financial aid to students while advising them on financial options and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate financial needs of students and families, providing guidance on financial aid opportunities
• Review and assess eligibility of financial aid applications, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Conduct workshops and provide information to students and families regarding financial aid policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor's or associate degree with four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Broad knowledge of federal financial aid programs and recordkeeping requirements
• General knowledge of accounting practices and computer applications
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle confidential information
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
