Financial Clearance Specialist III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist III - Authorizations Oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Process administrative and financial components of financial clearance, including insurance validation and pre-certification
• Initiate and track referrals, insurance verification, and authorizations for all encounters
• Coordinate and schedule services with providers and clinics while assisting management with denial issues

Required Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid MCO Plans, and commercial insurances
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare billing and reimbursement analysis
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and oncology-related coding
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic working knowledge of UB04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
