Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Coordinator, Heart Failure- Cardiac Surgery, Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for patients regarding insurance coverage and financial matters related to heart failure and cardiac surgery
• Coordinate post-heart failure discharges, including transportation, food assistance, and medication/insurance optimization
• Act as a liaison with insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations and ensure proper billing documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in business or healthcare field preferred
• Extensive knowledge of insurance standards and regulations required
• Managed care experience and familiarity with third-party payor processes
• Experience with specialized documentation requirements for heart failure/LVAD coverage
