Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Technologist Cytogenetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized testing in Cytogenetics, including chromosomal and FISH analysis
• Utilize current cytogenetic testing methodologies for clinical assessments
• Assist in the interpretation of test results related to genetic diseases

Required Qualifications

• Licensed or temporarily licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in a relevant specialty
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related fields, or an Associate degree with equivalent training
• Licensed as a Cytogenetic Technologist under Florida Statutes
• Two years of clinical Cytogenetics experience
• Ability to identify color differences and maintain attention to detail during testing
