Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar for a 40-hour day shift position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all components of Trauma Registry operations, including data collection, entry, and analysis
• Interact with regulatory agencies to provide required data for hospital accreditation as a Verified Trauma Center
• Ensure compliance with the latest criteria from the American College of Surgeons regarding registrar activities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate Degree in Health Information Technology/Management or equivalent trauma registry experience
• Completion of the American Trauma Society (ATS) Registry Course and/or AIS Scoring Course is preferred
• Intermediate computer skills for data input, spreadsheet creation, and database applications
• Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or completion of the ATS Trauma Registrar Course
