Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder I - Outpatient IMFP.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstracts data from medical records into Epic and 3M 360 for detailed case summaries
• Identifies and codes diagnoses and procedures according to ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines
• Responsible for coding E/M, Outpatient IMFP, and Outpatient Specialist visits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• 1 year of outpatient coding experience preferred
• Completion of a coding course or 1 year of outpatient coding experience
• Certification as CPC, COC, CPC-P, CCS, or equivalent required
• Additional certification such as CRC, CIC, RHIT, or RHIA required
