A company is looking for a Worker's Compensation Litigated Claim Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate claim details to determine compensability and total value, adjusting reserves as necessary
- Initiate investigations and coordinate with defense counsel for litigation claims
- Manage timely indemnity payments and maintain accurate state filings and medical bill approvals
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Lost Time/Legal claims handling; preferred 5+ years
- Possession of FL-All Lines Adjuster or Workers' Compensation License with maintained CEU credits
- Experience in settling claims and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proactive and independent with strong initiative and follow-through
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
