Job Summary
A company is looking for a General Ledger Specialist who prepares journal entries, reconciles financial statements and accounts, and ensures data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting journal entries for accurate financial transaction recording
- Performing monthly reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Participating in month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing schedules and reconciling accounts
Required Qualifications
- Experience in maintaining general ledger and financial reporting
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and compliance with internal accounting policies
- Familiarity with Indian statutory compliance and US taxation is advantageous
- Experience in audit support and preparing audit schedules
- Ability to maintain records of fixed assets and prepaid expenses
