Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Ledger Specialist who prepares journal entries, reconciles financial statements and accounts, and ensures data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and posting journal entries for accurate financial transaction recording
  • Performing monthly reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Participating in month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing schedules and reconciling accounts
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in maintaining general ledger and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and compliance with internal accounting policies
  • Familiarity with Indian statutory compliance and US taxation is advantageous
  • Experience in audit support and preparing audit schedules
  • Ability to maintain records of fixed assets and prepaid expenses
