Georgia Licensed Architectural Historian

Job Summary

A company is looking for an On-Call Architectural Historian (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct historical research in local, state, and regional libraries and archives
• Contribute to historic resources surveys and assessments, including site inspections and evaluations
• Prepare historic property inventory forms and assist with regulatory document preparation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field and 1+ years of professional experience
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
• Knowledge of the history and architectural history of Georgia and/or other southeastern states is preferred
• Experience with NHPA Section 106 and GDOT architectural history practices is advantageous
• Familiarity with research on Georgia's Natural, Archaeological, and Historic Resources Information System (GNAHRGIS) is a plus
