Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Mechanical Engineer to join their Federal Engineering and Design Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for federal, healthcare, and institutional facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems
• Prepare detailed engineering documents, cost estimates, and design calculations
• Coordinate with architects and federal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• PE license (required)
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in VA, DoD, or healthcare facilities
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design software
• Familiarity with VA design standards and federal project delivery processes
