GIS Telecom Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Telecom Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and draft Fiber to the X (FTTX) projects including high and low level designs, splice matrices, and GIS layouts
• Support project management by tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring quality control
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to discuss project statuses and assist in scheduling and tracking permits

Required Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in OSP Fiber Design
• Strong knowledge of FTTx and experience with OSP design of fiber optic facilities
• Familiarity with GIS software, AutoCAD, ESRI products, ArcPro, and Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
