A company is looking for a Government Relations Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with legislators and regulators in the designated geographic territory
- Review and monitor state legislation and proposed regulations, providing feedback and drafting necessary documentation
- Coordinate with internal business units and external clients to address legislative and regulatory issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; Juris doctorate or related graduate degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in Government Relations required
- Experience in Pharmacy, Insurance, or Health Policy required
- Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and SharePoint required
- Commitment to compliance program objectives and respectful interaction with colleagues
