Job Summary
A company is looking for a Grants Accountant to provide administrative and accounting support for grants and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare invoices and grant workpapers, manage grant receivable schedules
- Conduct financial reporting, including SF-425 federal reports and reconciliations
- Assist with annual grant audit preparation and perform day-to-day finance tasks
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in grants administration and accounting preferred
- B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting or finance
- Understanding of accounting principles, including accrual accounting
- Experience with financial administration and compliance for grants and contracts
- Familiarity with OMB Uniform Guidance and audit requirements for federal awards preferred
