Group Underwriting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant II, Group Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex new business and renewal requests for insurance products
• Independently determine pricing and risk acceptance based on customer data analysis
• Negotiate benefits and pricing with brokers and sales teams to expand market share

Required Qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 3-5+ years of group life and/or disability underwriting experience
• Experience in analyzing financial health and performance of customers
• Ability to independently prepare coverage and pricing proposals
• Knowledge of compliance documentation and reporting requirements
