Hardware Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer - Field Device Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot a fleet of field devices including cameras and POS transaction relays
• Manage installations of embedded systems and device networking while implementing automated monitoring
• Support new location installations and optimize device performance through analysis and standardized configurations

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of POSIX/Linux systems administration experience
• Experience with firmware management for embedded devices or IoT hardware
• Network troubleshooting skills including TCP/IP and firewall configuration
• Command-line proficiency with bash/shell scripting
• Knowledge of POS integration and experience with embedded Linux systems
