Health Information Management Professor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Visiting Professor for Health Information Management or Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning by teaching courses and developing course syllabi and lesson plans
• Engage in blended teaching methods, incorporating face-to-face interaction with online discussions and assignments
• Participate in faculty training and development activities to ensure quality instruction

Required Qualifications

• A master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the field being taught from a regionally accredited institution
• Current industry experience in a healthcare setting and relevant certifications (RHIT)
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, including electronic health records and IT systems
• Subject matter expertise in health information management and systems, privacy, and security
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, and facilitate diverse groups
