Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Identity Specialist - HIM Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains master patient index integrity by performing medical record number merges and unmerges
• Performs contact moves and demographic changes, ensuring accuracy and supporting documentation
• Collaborates with team members to resolve patient identification problems and ensure timely billing

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• No licensure or certification required
• Four (4) years of general medical record experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of HIM experience
