Human Centered Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Human Centered Design Engineer / UX Designer to support projects within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and manage implementation for agile projects, including facilitating requirements elaboration sessions
• Create visual designs and produce user requirements specifications, journey maps, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure design specifications are implemented and conduct user requirements analysis

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience, or 8 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of education
• 5 years of experience in visual design and user interface design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch, and prototyping software like Figma or InVision
• Strong analytical skills with experience in Agile User Stories and Epics
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
