Human Factors Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Human Factors Engineer to support the Human Factors Engineering team in optimizing drug delivery systems and combination products.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate human-centered design by collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into product design
• Execute usability research activities including study design, data collection, and reporting for formative and summative studies
• Conduct risk mitigation analyses to inform product design and identify use-related risks

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in HF/UE
• Advanced degree in Human Factors or Usability Engineering preferred
• Deep knowledge of FDA and IEC/ISO guidance and standards related to usability engineering
• Experience supporting usability studies for combination products and injectors
• Ability to influence design decisions based on user behavior insights
