Job Summary

A company is looking for an Educator- Clinical Documentation Integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audits of clinical records to identify opportunities for education and compliance
• Engage with providers and CDI colleagues to clarify patient record information and educate on remediation issues
• Analyze data to discern patterns and trends related to successful remediation efforts

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing, health information management, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an Associates degree
• 3 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) experience required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in IL or WI, or RHIT, RHIA, or CCS certification required
• Must obtain a Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner (CDIP), or CCS within 1 year of hire
