Inpatient Coding Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding SMART Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient coding reviews and SMART audits
• Provide feedback and education on coding practices
• Ensure compliance with coding accuracy and productivity goals

Required Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification required
• 2-3 years of recent inpatient coding and auditing experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with the SMART Audit tool is essential
• Strong technical skills, including experience with VPNs and multi-factor authentication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
